Notes question!I was wondering if any of you guys have ever been on antidepressants before and which ones you have found to be the most effective for you? I’ve tried effexor and celexa, with no success on either of those.
also, which others have you experimented with and found ineffective, etc.?
I’m on paxil now. But I’ve only just started it a week ago and I’m still in the troubleshooting process. What have you guys been the most successful with?

i’m on a combination of celexa and wellbutrin that generally works really well. it’s just a lot of experimentation until you find what works

I just want to mention that Prozac took the edge off of my suicidal thoughts, but it left me listless and dead on the inside. Good luck

Prozac has actually worked for me, the only other one I’ve had is zoloft which is shit.

wellbutrin worked great but gave me tics from hell. prozac worked well for a while but has sort of lost its magic. hope that helps.

Wellbutrin was the best anti depressant I’ve been on. Lexapro did nothing.

i’ve been on prozac and lexapro, and both worked for about 4 yrs before stopping. i’m now on cymbalta but i just started it 2 wks ago.

for me, prozac fixes my tendency to either have a huge appetite or no appetite at all, and makes me want to kill myself less?? they keep needing to up my dose though

I was on Lexapro for like 2 years. It was effective I guess you could say, but it made me pretty blah all the time. I wasn’t depressed though

I’ve been on Citalopram for a while (40mg) and thats worked the best so far.
